Jason Berchowitz Architects was founded in 2008. We are a small practice, offering a specialized service to our clients. Jason Berchowitz Architects prides itself on functional and well executed design. Being a boutique practice, we enjoy building long standing relationships with our clients, enabling us to provide a comprehensive and personal service. Jason Berchowitz qualified as an architect in 1996 from the University of Witwatersrand. During his studies, he spent a year in Miami Florida, working for an architectural firm that specialised in the design of restaurants and banks. On completion of his degree, Jason spent 4 years working for a well-established architectural practice in Johannesburg, where he was involved in various projects ranging from high-end residential projects to religious buildings and colleges. In 2000 Jason entered into a partnership with a colleague to form Beam Architects. Beam Architects was involved in the design and development of residential projects, from small renovations to inception of new homes, as well as commercial and urban renewal schemes. Beam Architects endured for a period of 8 years until 2008, when Jason Berchowitz Architects was formed. Jason Berchowitz Architects produces well-finished contemporary architecture for all building types. Jason Berchowitz Architects offers a personalised, hands-on service to our clientele.
